One day I spotted this gentleman smoking a huge cigar while putting. I asked him if he minded if I photograph and paint him. He agreed. I never know where I will get an idea for a great painting. I went on to win 1st place if oils at the Pebble Creek online art show during covid. The original is sold but you can still purchase prints on Lustro paper, wood, acrylic, wrap-around gallery canvas.

We were enjoying lunch at the restaurant near our new home when I spotted this golfer putting with a gigantic cigar hanging out of his mouth. I have learned when something or someone intrigues me, I acted quickly. So with his permission I took a couple of photos for painting. I think we all have ways of cutting back, enjoying life. This is a 16” x 20” framed gallery wrapped canvas. It was painted with Windsor Newton oils.
