Megan began her journey as a new believer a few months ago when she agreed to be one of my models. There is something about the Lord’s tenderness toward a new believer. Megan is standing center front with a Bible in her hands. I got the idea from a commissioned portrait a few years ago where the subject was standing like Megan holding her Bible. Though the diffence I see is the life coming through this artwork.  

At first I was just looking for some great candidates for my art. And Megan accepted. Thank you Megan. As I progressed through I was struck by God’s hand in this art as well. In creation we see God’s glory with each sunrise or sunset. But, I love to see His glory shine through us. And, God’s glory is what I see coming through this portrait. 

”Megan” was entered into the fall 2022 art competition at Pebble Creek. This painting won first place in the professional division. Thank you Jesus. So, Megan’s journey continues on as I introduce this painting to you.
