Custom portraits captures time, place, emotion, a lifetime of peace. It is a way to share your heart. From our initial conversation to sending you your beautiful portrait, I strive to illustrate a painting that tells a story, something unique that you will enjoy for years to come.
I specialize in portraits. And, the products I use are the best I can find. The canvas is a stretched linen and I generally work with Windsor Newton and Michael Harding oils. I especially like the way Michael Harding oils glide off my brush creating sharp, sparkling colors.
Your custom portrait can be: a family member, pets, kids, mom, baby, your spouse or you, or a friend. Below are samples of my work, the original source photo is on the left with the artwork on the right.
How it works:
- You fill out my form and send me the photos I will be working from to candi@ARTbyCandiK.com.
- We have a conversation about what you want.
- You purchase the artwork with a 50% down payment.
- I send you a sketch so you can approve the initial composition.
- I work on the painting.
- I email you a photographic image of the final artwork and you send the final payment plus shipping.
- Your beautiful artwork is shipped to your home.
I strive for the highest level of customer satisfaction with each commission I accept. In order to ensure this level of satisfaction, I keep my clients very involved in the process. This means that we collaborate to determine the style, composition, lighting, and colors that will best suit the subject.
At that point I begin the final work of art. Once I begin the final art, I send photographic updates at the various stages so they can watch the work progress.
